Another fix I did to my Laptop 386sx was fixing its EPSON SMD-1000 FDD.

It was working – disc was spinning, head was moving, but it could not read any of floppy disc drives.
Afted disassambling it, I have found lots of corrosion on the PCB. Decided to clean it going through all most corroded places with soldering iron and also replace those two electrolytic capacitors. Capacitors did not look bad from outside, but…But after removing one it was obvious that they are faulty and must be replaced.So I have just replaced them with capacitors with approximately similar values.
And that was it, after reassembling floppy disc drive started reading all of the floppies! 🙂
What are the capacitor values?
